Peston is leading with the same line.

What is the fucking point. Outside the EU, with no say on rules, having to have as close an alignment as possible, to appease folk who don't like polish workers. Absolute madness.

What do we make of the spending scandal and the various branches of leave breaking electoral law?

It is a Leave propaganda video, and data harvest, for targeted advertising later, masquerading as a competition, which also probably wasn't factored into campaign spending rules. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/201...est-brexit

It would appear May has talked the Tories into a very soft brexit. Farage is seething

Takes two to tango, unfortunately. This Chequers meeting was a farce from beginning to end, as the EU will almost inevitably reject the UK's position, and we'll be back staring a “hard†Brexit in the face.

The only thing hard about here is me when a go into your ma.

May is without question the worst PM in my lifetime, she's hatching plots and schemes that she knows the EU will reject and is failing to keep clowns like Boris & Gove in line too, all in the vain hope that we somehow muddle through.
If this country had a credible opposition of any kind, she'd be getting took to task on her many failings, not just those around the shambles that is Brexit, but sadly we don't, so we'll continue to sleepwalk into oblivion and a hard Brexit.

Boris must've had a think in the fag break and found that supporting it might benefit him somewhere down the line.
