You not supposed to leave a space for a door?
Easier to build it whole then cut it out after. If there's a gap you start creeping in at the edges as you get higher. Should be easy enough to do as each brick is the size of a washing up tub.
It'll still fall long before then but I've always wanted to build an igloo and it might be decades before we get a chance like this. Parts of my back garden are waist/mak high.

My car was under about 6ft of snow when i went out earlier, was just ramming it back and forward until I got out the pile of snow behind me.

Just got a text saying the boy over the road went out and cleared our driveway for us, amazing considering I've spoke to him 3 or 4 times in the year we've lived there

Pack the snow really hard. Especially top snow which are your bottom bricks. Don't make it too big. It's a tiring project.
