Any of you chaps watching the USPGA? Appreciate with it being in San Francisco its on late!
Early impression is it''s pretty open with hopefully plenty involved over the weekend. Course definitely favors the longer hitters but if the wind doesn't get up then the winning score is going to be lower than they predicted. Casey and Fleetwood both started well today.

Was watching a wee bit earlier and they were saying that it's a municipal course normally that can't be right surely?

The USGA have used municipal courses a number of times. Bethpage Black in New York and Torrey Pines in San Diego are 2 examples which have hosted majors. I've managed a couple of rounds at the former, if you live in state it's 50% of the normal green fees. The 2025 Ryder Cup is being held there too.

They said last night it's something like $50 green fees if you live in California. Be pretty cool to go and play it next week at those prices

Looks like a class course, I'm all aboard the anyone but Bryson train, can't stand that cunt. Brooks Koepka trolling him at every opportunity as well

Getting pretty interesting. 6 guys tied for the lead including Casey and another 6 within 2 shots.

Picks for the US open this week?
Skybet are paying 11 places. Going to put a couple of quid on a few and hope for a couple of places at best. Woods 40/1 Day 33/1 Speith 80/1 Cameron Smith 150/1 Casey 50/1

I've been backing Schauffele for the majors for a few years now so he'll be one of mine, DJ will probably win it though the way he's been playing.

Hate hearing yanks calling the US open 'the open'.
4 small bets on Rahm, Morakawa, Hatton and Langasque. It's an iron players course so tempted by Tommy Fleetwood EW.

Also the roughs grown up so forget anyone that can't find a fairway so forget about Phil.
