“Smash into each other and hope for a penalty†rugby at its worst.
Gatland is an absolute disgrace of a man. Thought the coaching team he'd picked might have changed it this year but straight back to the usual for the Tests.
Pretty much worst case scenario to be missing both first choice locks and two of the front row against South Africa but still give us a decent shout if we can keep up the tempo.
Hopefully get a Scotland win followed by results for the Kiwis and Aussies
Some amount piling on to buses the day. They fucking love their rugby through here. Thank fuck I'm out of toryville and moving back home after the new year
I'm on the train to Glasgow. It was like a bufties day oot on the other side of the line. Actually seen a couple of boys I know decked out in shan kilts
Think Ireland are the team to beat, would fancy us against them at Murrayfield but winning in Dublin on the last weekend is a huge ask. If we can win 3 of our first 4 we should be going there with a chance though
All the talk has been about the conditions this week, how bad actually is it in Edinburgh today? Annoyingly I think the worse the conditions the more it plays into England's hands. If we get an expansive game we should win it but if it's a pure forwards and kicking game it could go either way.

Going through to Cardiff for the game next week
If we win today we've got a chance at the championship (small) but I can't see a slam possibility with our last match in Dublin. France and Ireland will both be too strong for us I think so I'll judge the success of the tournament on today and Cardiff. There's absolutely no reason why we don't go to Cardiff and win with this squad.
Expect us to win the scrum battle today for perhaps the first time ever against them but I think Itoje and Isiekwi will dominate the line out. Hoping they get VDM running down the 10 and 13 channel as hell run over the top of that midfield.
