A gutsy performance full of hard work and determination. Players tried hard, gave 100%, ran about, etc.
It ensures Levein has a longer stay of execution and Budge can get excited about how he's just about to turn that ever changing corner. She will absolutely see that today as a sign that Levein is still the man for the job.
It's like the cup final all over again. Up against a better side and we put in a wee bit of a shift for once. Aye, we worked hard, players looked up for it but we didn't really do much. Other than the goal and Uche hitting the bar we didn't have many chances. We just cancelled out Rangers and that was it. But it'll paper over cracks and many of disproportionately large amount of mongs in our support will lap it up and believe it's a sign of things to come.
And so it will now roll into November and we will be on EIGHT months without a home league win. Pathetic. We've only got one league game in November and of course failure to win that will make it nine months and counting.
Budge will be loving this i cant wait for the inevitable holier than thou statement. Find that woman (if that boy said anything dodgy her video will have picked it up) and give them both life time bans.
I've already resigned myself to the fact that he'll see the season out regardless of results, performances or position in the table, so I'll just take days like today as a positive when they come along.
No point sitting wanting us to get beat when we all know he's going nowhere anytime soon.
He's here for the season so if you are raging at draws against the league leaders with 7 or 8 players missing then it's going to be a long season for you.
Thought the players put in a performance that you'd expect from a hearts player, even Clare had a wee bit eh dig about him. What's the worst that can happen when you try your best?
Performance, attitude and everything was great today. Looking for a winner right up to the final whistle rather than sitting back holding on. Great to see again, begs the question why it's taken so long in to the season. It wasn't even that Rangers were poor, we just stopped them playing and defensively we were very well organised. Berra was a giant in the air and Smith was world class
