Are any SPL clubs in trouble with money? If we get relegated today we should take the SPL to court to delay any money due to clubs. If it means 1 or 2 going into administration then they could be relelgated instead perhaps? Fuck knows. What a fucking shambles.

Depends which clubs we hurt as some helped us out when we went to the wall.
Would only want to fuck over st mirren, Celtic and hibs tbf.

We're not in a position to fuck over any club, we're probably the worst run club in Scotland, hemorrhaging money on wages for fucking shite overpaid players and staff.
What's funny is that other fans and managers who are less acquainted with Hearts think it's harsh as we may have stayed up.
Any Hearts fan that watched the St Mirren game knew that was us done for.

Nah I mean as in if us going to court is going to delay payments to other clubs i wouldn't want to do that unless it was only going to fuck one of they 3 clubs.
I've changed my tune on it tbh, I think it should still be voided but if this is the way it needs to be then not much you can do.
If we do go down the board need emptied ASAP. Not even bothered about fan ownership just get us a bunch of cunts that ken how to get the most of the resources available to them.

Which rule allows them to relegate any team that hasn't completed the stipulated games in a season?
How can you play to the exact rule book in these situations though?
You can follow it as much as possible but none of the rules were written with anything like this in mind. Maybe a bit of an oversight not to have any contingencies for if the league has to be stopped short but you need to go off book in times like this.
Not saying I'm over the moon with how it's looking like it's going but I don't think they can be criticised for making it up as they go, everyone else is too.

My huge issue with what the SPFL are trying to do is the rush they appear to be in. I was taking to a lawyer about the possible steps Hearts could take and his strong view, out with the total lack of sporting integrity should they simply end the season and try to relegate us is for Hearts to delay, delay, delay. The reason for this is none of the major leagues have decided anything yet and he feels that if for instance the EPL can't be finished there is absolutely no chance that as an example Aston Villa will be relegated. So a precedent would then be set and we all know the SPL will then be between a rock and a hard place. Of course they are trying to rush a decision through. Hearts could of course use an instance like that as a big part of any legal action to show that this was not a fair or just decision but we would be better to use any tactics to delay this proposed vote in the meantime.
I'm struggling to contain my anger at Budge for having our club in this situation. Her arrogance and the besotted nature of her relationship with Levein that we all knew was dragging us downwards has left Hearts in a perilous position.
It's all good saying delay delay delay but I would quite like to watch football again soon and if that needs to be in the championship for a couple seasons then so be it
It's fucking shite but I'm bored of being wound up abo it now, in reality hearts have got themselves in a position they should never be in and whether we like it or not a decision has to be made and being bottom of the league it's not likely to be one that benefits us. Regardless of the decision the league makes there's going to be legal challenges from clubs who aren't happy.
I just want next season to be played as in full as possible, hopefully we're part of the SPL. All this chat of delaying games until July/August just seems to point to next season being a write off. Surely clubs will be desperate to find a solution that ensures their revenue in the future isn't fucked too?

Whilst I totally understand your sentiment re seeing football played I'm not sure you understand the ramifications of Hearts being relegated and what it will mean for the club. This isn't going to be the enjoyable experience of 2014-15.
The post above about Hearts fans suing the club was maybe made tongue in cheek but if this relegation does become a reality there should be serious ramifications for those that have put us in this position. I'm not sure which group, whether FoH or some other body but there should be an enquiry into what has gone on at our club over the last few years especially the mass mismanagement of finances both on and off the park.
