Said to my mate on the phone on Wednesday, forget reconstruction or anything other than hearts getting relegated, I'm bored now I want them to confirm it and that's the end eh it.

Budge's total negligence at not making this a legal issue weeks ago and causing the SPFL the utmost discomfort and hassle, attempting to get funds frozen etc etc is really coming home to roost, not to mention having us in the position in the first place.
A good point. At very least the premiership will be back first
I'm more angered at Budge than Scottish football. Any idiots could've seen it coming and she's been played like a rube. To be bottom of the league in march is atrocious, but her actions since then are unforgivable.
'Listen, if you didn't know you were being scammed you're too fuckin' dumb to keep this job, if you did know, you were in on it. Either way, you're out.'
She's been shown up for the stupid naive old woman that we always knew she was.
She should've told them from the outset that we'd see them in court if they tried to put us down without finishing the season, but as per usual, she's rolled over and had her tummy tickled.
Said it before and I'll say it again, this wouldn't have happened under Mr Mercer or Mr Romanov.

I think this is a scenario that is growing more and more likely. I can't see how clubs below the SPFL are going to be able to afford to host matches in the Autumn and they are certainly not going to be high priority for having emergency services etc attend. Genuinely think Hearts might not be playing in 2020.

Don't think that's necessarily true.
That's what the SPFL would want but Sturgeon hasn't fannied about with her words and has made it quite clear sport will be waiting.
There's just as good a chance it's easier to get the less supported leagues back and seeing how that goes before trying to open up stadiums like ibrox/parkhead first.

Don't see there being crowds at any football in 2020.

I'm not sure that correlates with my experience of the Scots' attitude to football

If the Prem went back behind closed doors it would need to be televised which is another thing she wants to avoid as she doesn't want people hanging about together watching the game.
The SPFL will have their ideas of what they want to happen but it's going to come down to sturgeon and she clearly isn't bothered about pandering to the football fans and getting their sport back up and running ASAP. I think there's more chance of it opening from the bottom up rather than the other way round.

It's the attitude of the folk making the decisions though
It seems like the smaller clubs are actually in a better position to cope with this than teams like us since they don't have as much outgoings.

Sturgeon will do what her base want her to do, and they will want their Rainjurs and Seyultick games back on pronto. The old firm dominate because Scots want them to.
You make a good point about the possibility of diddy teams being better off though
Would be good to have Robbo at the helm and Berra in the championship. Would be good to give Berra a proper send off after the shambles that unfolded. Apparently Berra was very good for Dundee.
