It says something that his best performances came when he was out of his favoured position.
I'm not sure what it shows, but it shows something. Honestly I'd be happy whoever left bar a few exceptions. At the end of the day, they have to leave either this summer or next summer because we can't go into a Premiership season with the same players that got us relegated.

Would be a minor miracle to shift that hopeless cunt Sean Flair.
He got accommodated into a position where he looks reasonable on the ball because you get the most time to play in the full back positions. While not terrible going forward he's nowhere near the hype of his arrival and can't defend to save his life which had a big role in us ending up where we are. Either way, if there's anyone prepared to take him we should go all out to move him on.

He clearly forgets how awful he was before Stendel came in.
Levein brought in a barrowload of "confidence players"
Read as weak. Smith, Dikamona and Hickey are the only players I can think of that just get on with the job. Washington, Uche, Bozanic, Lee, Clare, Moore, Halkett, Damour, Periera etc etc... all just need games, time etc... Just do your job ffs. Lafferty would've strolled into Tynecastle and done the business. He doesn't do words like confidence. He's a baddie though so we didn't want him. Players with character are often overlooked as there is a risk they may stand up to goons like Daly when they are spraffing shite.

No Hearts player who plays most games in a relegated side gets pass marks. It's as simple as that.

Still think it's amazing that folk rate a guy that billed himself as a number 10 and called himself 'Sean Flair' and he ended up at full back

The biggest indictment of Budge's Hearts were the fans who tried to make Don Cowie a cult hero.
Pathetic. Lets hope Neilson gets some of our dignity back.

The love in for mediocre players is one of the most bizarre thing about the Budge era. It's something to do with nearly dying and gimps on Twitter trying to get likes. Can't quite put my finger on it but it's a mix of those things.
Hearts fans used to be notorious for expecting high standards. Probably to an unrealistic degree.

The likes of Boyack, McKenna, Suso and even Hartley got slated for at least their first year. One of my mates dad's stopped going to games as the moany cunt next to him was giving Fulton pelters for not scoring a penalty well enough, nowadays Don Cowie is a cult hero
