Why though? It's not your money or mine. We've had shite players on 3/4 year deals in the past, he's good so he's worth the punt in my opinion, what's the alternative.. sign an unknown on a 2/3 year deal?

Because we could end up in the situation of relying on Henderson or the likes I don't mind a risk but his injury record so far is a shambles.
Gutted about this. Probably worth signing anyway. Even if we do sign someone else good they'll get injured for months at a time, it's just how it goes for us now. Guarantee if/when GMS starts firing he'll pick up a 'knock' and we'll see him again 4 months down the line.

Just had a look at the rest of his career, it's a fair point.
Might just be a really bad run of luck. We'd find it hard to find his skills with another signing.

I was just thinking that about guys like Suso and Templeton in the past, people are always quick to slaughter these guys but they don't realise that you don't really get players like that very easily.
Next thing you know you've got Cowie and Moore on the flanks and wonder how it all went so wrong.

Aye looked at some interviews and it looks like the first one was a groin injury which we didn't think was as bad as it was then he broke down in training, then it was Covid and finally a hamstring injury
Any player that's injured on loan fucks off to the club they're signed too. Let them pay his medical bills and pick him up for fuck all at end t' season. win win.
