Can't disagree with that.
We're now dealing with the leftovers.

Modernise the stadium by taking 10k seats out is Aberdeen's way of sorting their absolute hole of a stadium out.
Pointless wee has-beens

They'll be dropping into the conversation how James Maddison was once on loan there and look at him now every other sentence. Them getting pumped out of Europe last night means they've missed out on a good £3m too.

Just figured they're probably being sneaky here actually eh
Ah well they're still shite
Hearts would bring 5k to Aberdeen anyway, so how the fuck can they not fill 10k. That attendance with a one team city, embarrassing man.
They really need to bulldoze that stadium if they want to progress. I can kind of see why no cunt wants to spend every second weekend there.

I think basically clubs can do what they want during this trial period but come the 20th if they're not doing it properly then there will be bother.
I don't think “we thought less than 10k were going to turn up so we didn't bother†will fly if their attendances go above but we'll see how it is enforced I suppose. So tin pot though

They're going back to the mcghee years of finishing 7th and 8th, whenever a diddy team starts bumping their gums about pulling away and all this nonsense it's a downward spiral.

The number of empty seats at the game against Cheltic was ridiculous and that's not including the ones at the front of their shed that they covered with Tarpaulin or the extra tickets they'll have given Cheltic. An attendance of circa 14k when at least 5k of that will be Cheltic fans is at Kilmarnock levels of support.

And there are still some bams claiming this wee mob are the third force in Jock fitbaw

Always find the whole "third force" debate to be utterly tragic, same with the "splitting the Old Firm" shit. Such a small-time mentality.

It's also reality though. The OF are two deeply embedded cultural insittutions that as a result have two of the biggest supports in world football.
No point pretending they aren't on another planet. Doesn't mean that we can't assemble 11 players to beat them though. But even if we won the league a couple of years in a row, maybe bagged a treble - we'd still be the third club in Scotland unfortunately. It would be like Valencia, Atletico, Deportivo etc... pretending to be top dog in Spain. |
